Hi! I’m Amy Anderson Peck, Fantabulous Floral Designer Extraordinaire or so I’ve been told 🙂 I thoroughly enjoy creating unique and fun floral arrangements, hence the reason I’ve spent most of waking hours for the past 14 years doing so. Sometimes I laugh as I reflect on my high school days working with flowers at a local Hy-Vee grocery store. From there, I attended college and worked as a Floral Designer at a few shops around town, learning from other designers.
After college I attended Stuppy Floral Design School in North Kansas City Missouri. Afterwards, I opened my own flower and gift shop in Urbandale, Iowa and sold that business in 2001 and continued to create floral designs for weddings and special events.
I consider myself priveledged as I’ve studied floral design at the Koehler and Dramm Institute of Floristry with White House and Rose Parade Designer, Ardith Beveridge. Ardith taught me the awesome techniques that she uses for Presidential Parties throughout the world and in Washington, D.C. Ardith asked to me to work at a design show for Koehler and Dramm – obviously I said “YES”!!!
Working with HGTV and CBS Floral Guru from Canada Neville Mackay was also a highlight in my floral career. I worked with Neville and several other celebrities to put together a show for other florists to give them refreshing, creative ideas with new colors, trends and tricks of the trade! The experiences were remarkable! I thank Neville for sharing his knowledge and kind comments on my designs! 🙂
Through my experience working with brides, event planners and corporations to provide them with their wants and needs, I know how important it is to listen to their dreams and the vision they have for their special day. It is truly a blessing to be a part of their wedding day or corporate event to bring the event to life with the beauty of flowers! I look forward to meeting with you and creating special memories on your big day or special event – both corporate or personal.
Best Wishes to you and your Future!
