So the next day starts by trying to thaw out from a cold nights sleep! Up our friendly stairs to get some complimentary hot tea! Never thought the thought would cross my mind but when I passed the vending machine I thought sure wish there were a pair of socks in there! LOL Nope all good! We were blessed to have a room that we could get so cold! Doesn’t happen much anymore with the regulators they have on those things! So Jamie and I did some jumping jacks to get the blood moving and back to it we went!
Above is the Grooms Boutonniere with a nice touch having the beads accent as you will see the pearls are also in the bouquets.
All the corsages and Boutonnieres done! Check!
Show me the Bouquets! Show me the Bouquets! OK!!!!
Love it! Bridal bouquet of White Hydrangea, Garden Roses, and White Tibet Roses with pearl accents. Stunning!
The sun is going down in a few hours and we are starving. We decide to get out of the hotel for our last night to eat at the Barefoot Bar and Grill as that seems to be the place to go and Jamie and I had never been to Okoboji before.
There was a band playing and some older people dancing and having a great time! It was great entertainment from all aspects! People, music, warmth, food…. doesn’t get much better!
We decided to head back as the bride was going to be arriving at the hotel and wanted a chance to check out the flowers before the big day the next morning!
The Bride came in the flower shop/ hotel room and was overcome by the fragrance. I wish I could still smell the scent of flowers but after working with them for so long I have lost that ability. She looked at the bouquet and loved them. Took in everything else in the room as I think she was a bit overwhelmed as brides usually are the night before the wedding.
The day of the wedding we began set up on the tables placing white Fuji mums with rose petals on the Tables with Crystal Candle holders provided by Innovative Events! Love that company! Great things and so great to work with. They have their stuff together!
The wedding was beautiful and everything went as planned! Jamie and I delivered the flowers to the Church and came back to check on things one last time! Jamie and I cleaned up the hotel room moved the furniture back to its original place for those who would like to use the room for actual relaxation purposes! We packed up the car with empty buckets and a lot lighter load. Headed out of town with a quick stop for a pop of course! We made it back to unload and found when we went to open the back door we had left a pair of stem cutters on the back of the bumper. They had traveled the entire 3 hour drive home in the fresh air. Oh my goodness never a dull moment! LOL
